Sarah & George For Slay My Day

Under the Disco Balls: Sarah & George’s Epic Celebration at Dublin Bay

Inclusive, fun, and unforgettable – Sarah and George’s wedding was less about tradition and more about togetherness. From the first hug to the last spray of champagne on the d-floor, it was clear these two legends just wanted to throw a party with their favourite people, and what a party it was.

Held at the dreamy Dublin Bay, this celebration wasn’t about showy trends or over-the-top moments. It was about love, connection, and bringing everyone they adore into one epic space. Every wedding tells a love story – but this one was about all the people who helped shape it. Family, friends, chosen whānau, each guest a piece of the puzzle.

DIY Dream Team

Sarah and Liv (who also doubled as their amazing celebrant!) brought their vision to life with personal touches, hand-crafted signage, and stylish details that felt effortlessly cool. From the marquee florals (with help from Sarah’s talented auntie) to the overall vibe – everything was intentional, authentic, and beautiful.

And here’s the best part: this day sparked something even bigger. Sarah and Liv have since teamed up to create Dream Day Studio NZ – a creative duo who know how to nail the details. If you want proof they know what they’re doing, just peek at this wedding again.

The dance floor was its own kind of magic – disco balls sparkling overhead, a packed marquee full of good vibes, and champagne popping off like fireworks. One of our favourite behind-the-scenes moments? The photographer getting absolutely drenched in bubbly while Wedd Films NZ ducked behind them for cover. If that doesn’t scream party of the year, we don’t know what does.

This wasn’t just a wedding – it was a celebration of love, friendship, and finding your people.
