Based in New Zealand and available wherever your story takes you, I craft wedding films that blend a clean editorial style with candid, heartfelt moments. No stiff poses or over-the-top direction — just an honest, considered reflection of your day, captured as it truly felt.

I work closely with each couple to tailor the look and feel of the film to suit their story — whether that’s polished and modern, nostalgic with touches of Super 8mm, or something entirely your own. My aim is to create films that feel timeless, intentional, and uniquely you.

On the day, I take a calm and low-key approach — gently guiding where needed but mostly letting the moments unfold naturally. I value real emotion over performance, and story over spectacle.

How many hours of coverage?

I have a photographer booked, how do you work alongside them?

Your photographer and I are like a tag team on the day! We are there to make you look awesome and keep it fun and relaxed. I've gotten to know a lot of the local photographers and am always keen to give suggestions, but also love meeting new photographers in the industry! I often take an approach of letting the photographer run most things as usual then working along side for video specific pieces, but a lot of my work is candid and doesn't require much direction.

What audio gets overlayed?

I typically only use the vows overlayed in your video. This is because it's something you've prepared to share publicly regardless, and often is actually nice things about each other (hopefully?)

Some best-men speeches are brutal, and while they may funny, I don't want to accidentally incorporate a speech that you didn't quite want tainting your big day. Happy to use other pieces of the day and chat further about this if speeches are a "must have" overlay for your highlight film. I'm flexible, it's all tailored to you!
