Welcome to Emily Rose Photography.

I’m an English girl that fell in love with a Kiwi boy and we try to split our time between the two sides of the globe. We call Bath in the UK our current home with our very unique cat, Poppy and our gorgeous rescue street dog, Pedro, but spend our UK winters with family in Wellington.

Weddings have been my sole purpose for the past 13 years; years that have allowed me to develop a specific style to capture raw emotions, unique light, elegant details and pure happiness. Whether it’s exploring the quiet back streets of a city, or hiking up mountains at sunrise, I am drawn to new locations and discovering exciting new ways of capturing each day uniquely.

I think memories are one of the most special things that exist. I cherish nothing more than the photographs that have captured the important moments in my life and made me relive the emotions and this is what I aim to replicate for my couples with some giggles thrown in.

Over the years, I’ve built up a portfolio of weddings I’m incredibly proud of, leading to features with Vogue, Cosmopolitan and numerous wedding blogs such as Together Journal, alongside being named one of the Top 50 UK Wedding Photographers by Professional Photo Magazine 2022 & 2024.

When in NZ, I am based in Wellington, but willing to travel to any part of the country.
