I find the average length of a ceremony is between 15-30 minutes. From the time we first see the bridal party coming down the aisle, through the ceremony, the kiss, the signing and the walking down the aisle….. Most ceremonies will fit perfectly into that time frame – and it will go like lightning!

As much of my time as you need, samples of vow and ring exchange wording, samples of readings, advice on how to apply for your marriage licence, creating your unique ceremony, rehearsal meeting (if applicable) and your wedding day ceremony.

No! Almost nobody does! If you just relax and enjoy the ceremony, without having to worry about what you have to say, I will take care of everything!
You can purchase gorgeous vow booklets these days to write into and they look fabulous in your photos or I can type them out and laminate them on a card for you to read to each other. It is also a personal choice whether you write your own vows or choose vows from the selection that I provide.

What would you like me to wear? I always make every effort to co-ordinate as best I can to your bridal colours and styles, so tell me what colours your bridesmaids are wearing, what flowers you will carry, and the theme of your wedding, so I can fit in as best I can. (PS: I like shopping!)

What’s the most important part of your wedding ceremony? As a celebrant, I’d love to tell you I am – but it’d be a lie. Your wedding hinges on one relationship. That relationship is summed up in two vows. Those vows are summed up in two words.
What happens if your guests can’t hear you say those words? You’ve got a problem.
Outdoor weddings are beautiful – but they’re twice as hard to hear as indoor weddings. Inside, sound reflects and bounces back. Outside, it disappears into the wind.
Speaking of wind, you’ll also have the sounds of nature to compete with at your outdoor ceremony – and, if your location is near water or traffic as well.
Expecting 20 or 30 guests at your wedding? It’s charming to keep things organic and intimate – no microphones, no electricity. But the larger your guest list gets, the harder it gets for them in the back to hear what’s going on. My rule of thumb is that 20 guests for an outside wedding is the point at which you’re going to regret not having amplification. In fact, I \"strongly recommend\" it!!!

Otherwise at the very least you can hire my fabulous sound system which has a lapel mic for the celebrant, cordless mic for your vows and readings and you can play your music through it! There are no cords and no power is required! All this for just $100.00!!

Live music from a great musician is always the number one choice otherwise you can load up your laptop/iPhone/ iPad with the music for your ceremony and play it through my PA system. BUT you need to give someone else the job of pressing the buttons, and make it easy on them to know what to do.

For a wedding at a venue where there are bridesmaids, groomsmen, readings and lots of guests then I highly recommend it! Most couples feel more comfortable knowing where to stand and the sequence of how the ceremony will go. It is not essential but recommended and normally takes place in the morning of the day prior to the ceremony or at an agreed time between us.

How sick? Very sick? Very, very sick? Ok, if I am in the hospital, on a drip, I will get you someone else. It would have to be really serious. For anything else, I will be there for you. I have NEVER double-booked, got too sick to show up, been late, let anyone down. NEVER. And you won’t be my first.
