My approach is documentary style—this means I focus on capturing natural, candid moments as they unfold. But that doesn’t mean we leave everything to chance! Around 6 weeks before your day, we’ll meet over a coffee or Zoom and go over all the finer details. I work closely with you to understand your vision—what’s important, what isn’t—and plan a timeline that supports this.

Of course, things don’t always go exactly to plan - and that’s totally okay! The beauty of a well prepared plan is that it gives us room to adapt. I’ll be there gently guiding where needed, calmly rolling with whatever the day brings, and always looking to tell the real story of your wedding.

Yes! I love to meet for a relaxed, no pressure chat in person over coffee or on Zoom so we can see if we are a good fit for each other. Choosing a wedding photographer is a very personal decision, and it’s important that we both feel comfortable and connected.

I’m based at Waitarere Beach, and I regularly work in Palmerston North, Whanganui, Kapiti, Wellington, and Wairarapa. I’m more than happy to travel further afield — just get in touch and we can chat about any travel costs that might be involved. I love the fresh inspiration that comes with new places!

Rain on your wedding day is often said to bring good luck! I’ll come prepared with clear umbrellas, a calm presence, and flexible backup plans. If we need to shift locations or dance between showers, that’s all part of the story. You just bring your love (and maybe a sense of adventure), and I’ll take care of the rest.

You’ll receive a full gallery of beautifully edited, high-resolution images—usually around 500 to 800, depending on the length of coverage and flow of your day. I send you a preview gallery within a few days, and your full gallery is delivered in 6 - 8 weeks.

Once you’re ready, I’ll send through a contract and invoice. A non-refundable booking retainer secures your date, and the remaining balance is due two weeks before your wedding.
