Nestled amongst towering trees, picturesque gardens and charming heritage details, the venue has a timeless, almost European feel. It was exactly the kind of setting that photographer Mel Panteli loves to work in.

A Wedding Filled with Personal Touches

Inspired by the French countryside, Katie and Blake’s wedding was a beautiful mix of rustic elegance and meaningful details.

From Jenny’s collection of antiques to a personalised six-litre bottle of Moët for their champagne tower, every detail had a story behind it.

One of the most special moments came at sunset, when the newlyweds returned to the very spot on the property where Blake had proposed, champagne in hand, to capture another unforgettable memory.

Surrounded by their favourite people, the couple created a day that was as meaningful as it was fun. From the happy tears and infectious laughter to the fabulous rainbow outfits, there was so much love in the room.

Dressed in crisp white, the two grooms stood out beautifully amongst a sea of colour. Rainbow touches were woven throughout the celebration, from the florals and styling to the cake, signage and lighting. And then there was that spectacular rainbow smoke bomb moment, captured perfectly by Photography by Andie!

Their ceremony was set in a gorgeous semi-circle, surrounded by guests dressed in black tie, with roses appearing to pop straight out of the grass lining the aisle. From the signage to the florals, every detail felt considered without being overdone.

Set at Brackenridge Country Retreat, one of the most special details of the day was the incredible 50-foot tapa cloth lining the ceremony aisle, handmade by Jonathan’s grandmother. It made an unforgettable entrance and was such a meaningful way to weave Jonathan’s Tongan heritage and family history into their ceremony.

Aiya started the day in a custom Steven Khalil gown, paired with a lace-edged veil and ivory-clad bridesmaids, before switching things up with two Aston Bridal looks as the celebrations rolled on. And honestly, we love a bride committed to an outfit change.
