Yes and I would encourage this, as it adds dimension to your ceremony ensuring that your ceremony is personalised and unique to you and your partner.

The average time is 15 – 20 minutes however this may vary depending on how many readings/poems or other rituals that you choose to include.

You must seek and receive approval from the relevant Council or other organisation to hold the Ceremony. We can cover this in further detail at your planning meeting.

Once your Vows are said to each other, you are a legally married couple. From a paperwork point of view, I will file your Marriage License Papers with the Department of Internal Affairs to register your marriage with Births, Deaths and Marriages.

In the event that I am unable to perform your ceremony, I will provide you with as much notice as possible, and ensure another Celebrant is available to officiate your wedding or Civil Union or M C role.
