I’m Sami, the photographer behind SR Photography. Based in Auckland and available throughout New Zealand, I capture weddings in a relaxed, documentary style with a refined editorial finish.

My approach is calm and unobtrusive. I step back when moments are unfolding naturally and offer gentle direction when it helps you feel comfortable in front of the camera. The result is a timeless collection of genuine emotion, meaningful details, and beautifully composed portraits—without turning your celebration into a production.

From our first conversation, I take time to understand your priorities and help plan photography around the natural rhythm of your day. This allows you to remain present with the people you love while knowing every important moment is being documented with care.

I photograph full-day weddings, intimate celebrations, destination weddings and engagement sessions across Auckland and beyond. Every couple, culture and love story is warmly welcomed.
